The State Swim Systems program is a step by step system of graded progression from water babies through to the 400 gold graduation certificate.

The State Swim System is recognised as a leader in aquatic education in Australia. Excellent Teachers and an outstanding training system create a winning combination. Small, graded classes and warm water at 32°C are two of the important elements that ensure success. Graded classes mean students are taught with others of similar age and ability, only progressing when they complete the required skills. Our system is designed to accommodate all skill levels, from the hesitant beginner to the accomplished competitor. We believe in acknowledging accomplishment and a series of State Swim certificates reward each pupil's achievements as they progress.
It is our goal and philosophy that every Australian should be able to swim 400 metres by the time they leave Primary School. This achievement will give your child the basis for water safety and health throughout their lives. We urge you as parents to help your youngster to achieve the 400 Gold Graduation Certificate by attending classes regularly and encouraging their efforts as they move through the certificate system to the 400 gold.
You will find our Swimming Schools to be clean, efficient and well run, providing the optimum environment for instruction and skill development. State Swim schools are equipped with modern water treatment technology including an Ultra Violet (UV) light system which is used as an additional aid to water purification. Ultra Violet light is similar to using the sun's rays for water purification. It's non chemical and is one of the most natural methods to help purify the water. UV Systems are used extensively in high quality facilities throughout the world.
The use of a UV System is very noticeable in that you will find chemical odours in the pool area will be greatly reduced and the water will be much more pleasant to swim in. Warm, fresh, safe water is our chief concern and our equipment and pool chemistry are constantly monitored throughout the day. Our indoor heated pools provide ideal conditions in which to enjoy swimming the whole year round.
